My Qualifications and Experience
I trained at the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education (IATE) and my qualifications include an MA in Integrative Child Psychotherapy, an MSc in Knowledge-based Systems and a BSc (Hons) in Social Psychology.
I am a UKCP registered Integrative Child Psychotherapist. I am also an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work within the Ethical Frameworks of both professional bodies and am subject to their professional conduct procedures.
I have experience as a therapist working with children and young people in schools. This involves liaison with parents and carers. I also work therapeutically with parents and carers and with other adults.
In the past I have worked as an I.T. author and trainer, a researcher, a technical writer and taught psychology in higher education.
